Sever Pharma Solutions, a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) specializing in controlled release systems for high-potent drugs, is proud to celebrate its 50th anniversary this year. The milestone marks five decades of innovation, expertise, and partnership in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing.
Founded in 1975 as a pharmaceutical plant under Ferrosan in Malmö, Sweden, the company has evolved through several strategic transformations. In 2021, it became Sever Pharma Solutions, marking the beginning of a new phase of global growth. Today, Sever operates from facilities in Malmö, Sweden, and Putnam, CT, USA, serving customers worldwide with advanced development and manufacturing capabilities.
